Mechanisms and efficacy of immunomodulatory therapies
- Efficacy of neuroprotective and immunomodulatory therapies in animal models of Huntingtons disease and multiple sclerosis were studied in this thesis. Beside behavioural tests, immunological, molecular biological, and histological analysis were performed to identify potential new mechanisms of action.
- In dieser Arbeit wurde die Effektivität neuroprotektiver und immunomodulatorischer Therapien in Tiermodellen der Huntington Erkrankung und der Multiplen Sklerose untersucht. Neben Verhaltenstests, wurden immunologische, molekularbiologische und histologische Analysen durchgeführt, um potentielle neue Wirkmechanismen zu identifizieren.
